Here's how I went from working random 9–5 jobs with a daughter on the way, to making my first $30,000 commission check within 6 months as a remote sales rep. The path I took is the same that 100's of our students emulated to become top 1% earners in the online sales space.
Graduated school and started attending college to become an engineer.
Dropped out of school after realizing the vision I had for myself of being financially free didn't align with the traditional education system. I started working odd jobs as a warehouse worker and server in restaurants.
Covid hit. Then 2 weeks later I found out I was having a daughter. It made me realize I needed to commit to something bigger. I decided to pivot into online business, first trying Amazon FBA, then dropshipping.
My daughter was born. I started to see mild success with dropshipping, but profit margins were extremely low. I needed to find something different.
After scrolling YouTube I found a video of Alex Hormozi mentioning a 20 year old on his Gym Launch sales team that was making over $20,000 per month, while working from home. I decided to apply, and after multiple role play interviews I landed the role with no prior sales experience.
With Gym Launch I was able to grow from their cold calling team to a closer all within 6 months.
I became friends with the same 20 year old that I heard about on Hormozi's YouTube video. His name was Jacob. I finally felt like I was surrounded by like minded people.
He introduced me to Iman Gadzhi and I decided to follow him on Instagram. 2 weeks later Iman shared that he was hiring a closer, with on target earnings of $20,000+.
I decided to apply and was the only closer to get hired out of 5,000 applicants. Within 30 days of being on Iman's team I was making more money than I ever had in my life.
After spending 2 years with Iman I became the top cash collected sales representative to ever work for his company. Not only did I take on a management role, but also a sales coach, where I'd consult other agency owners on how to train their sales reps.
After leaving Iman's I became the Sales Director for Devin Jatho, where I built, managed and trained his entire team for a 6 figure base salary + a 7% split of the floor.
